smeg double oven model A2.2

Hi,

Can anyone help. I recently replaced the heating element and clock in my smeg a42.2 oven they both work now but when i turn the oven on the fan does not spin anymore. Can anyone help with this? the light does not come on next to the oven knob but the element heats up.

You might need to check that you haven't disturbed any other connections when doing the repair work.

hi, thanks, took the thing apart once more, found the issue. part of the previous element had broken off and had been disturbing the movement of the fan and jamming it. all fixed now
