Socket bead - before or after bonding coat

If applying a 3mm finish socket bead to a brick wall which has a hardwall finish, would the bead be adhered to the wall before or after the bonding coat?

The bonding coat and finishing coat would be a standard plaster thickness and are not being applied unusually thickly. Thanks.

You put on around 3mm of plaster finish hence
