Hi All

I'm toying with diy-ing the overcladding of my soffits and fascias, using the detached garage as a practice-piece.

Main question, what's the best order? Ta.

Also...

I have dry verge that is the type nailed under the battens. How would I get that off IF I decide to do that too?

Finally, the 'j' shaped fascia boards seem to come in set sizes. Do they get cut down so the lip of the new fascia is tight to the existing fascia? Or just accept a space between the two?

Ta.

Verges removed from the top down, are fixed to ends of tile battens and interlock.
The upvc facia boards can be trimmed down.

Sorry never read your post properly, assumed segmental verge. As data said. (y)

Remove continuous verge then do the soffits followed by the facing and barge boards..refit verge and tile roof back up..refit ridge to complete.
