Soil Pipe in floor space

I'm running a soil pipe under my floor boards in the space under the joists (about 200mm).

Do I hang/clip the pipe to the joists or put it on some bedding on the surface?

You hang it from the joists.

But first, below the joists, you run a stringline the length of the pipe from where it drops below the FFL to where it leaves the structure.

The run of the string will give you an idea about best route and clearances etc. Straight lines - no bends is best.

When you hang the pipe you must do it to falls towards the discharge point.
