Soil pipe into glazed bend

I have taken down an old external cast iron soil pipe as it was getting to be unsafe. I am going to install a new plastic soil pipe. I am left at ground level with a glazed bend that has a lip on it. Can I simply insert my new pipe into this and concrete the gap or is there some sort of fitting I should use?

The some mortar around it. It will help prevent the plastic sliding down into the clay pipe as well a provide a seal
