Soil strap on boss for bath waste on a soil pipe branch

Have got a plastic soil pipe branch running horizontally between joists to a wc and need to join a 40mm bath waste pipe (about 2.5m long) into it. Building regs say joins into 110mm branch pipes up to 40mm should be near the top - am I ok to use a soil strap boss on the pipe?
NB I can't get the bath waste directly into the vertical soil stack - too far away etc.

I'm assuming there won't be a problem with the bath water trap when the wc is flushed!

yes thats ok.
you can fit a bath anti vac trap.
should be ok with the right water trap seal size.
