Hi All
New to this website and was just looking for some advice.
Have just purchased 20 mtrs sq of solid wood flooring from B & Q tongue and groove style.
The room i am laying the floor in has a green chip board base, what i have been told is a floating floor?
Floors to go recommened that i fix the floor direct to chipboard using spax screws or tongue tite screw. But my friend has told me not to lay it on a floating floor, because if one of the screws go to far through the chip board, the damp will get into my floor.
Please help?
