I have bought a solar welcome light for the front of the house , it was £55 so not really one of the plastic cheao online ones ..
It has a sensor on it to welcome visitors , if I have It in direct sunlight for days nothing happens , it won't come on on either the permanent setting or the sensor setting , however I have taken it down and brought it inside to take a look , as soon as it hit the inside artificial light it came on , it was probably only inside for about 1 minute when I turned the lights out and now it seems really bright and has been on for 15 mins .. with the sensor working ... Surely 1 minute in the artificial light wouldn't have powered it up that much ? , is there any obvious reason for this ? Thanks in advance

Seems very odd, normally most have removable plastic film on the batteries or similar and even a button of some description to turn then "on", have you a link to light?

Faulty sensor, the PIR is sensing heat inside but not outside
