solar lights for a garage

B

breezer

My mother has a garage with no mains supply, and doesn't want one, but as its getting dark I thought i would install some solar operated lights.

Yes i know generaly they are not worth what i am going to pay for them, but i thought i would start this topic to show the progress in the hopes some one may find it of use.

Off to get some lights. (shortly)

Put a low voltage trickle charger in the house, low voltage ( 14 volts ) cable out to a car battery and use 12 vehicle flourescent lighting

not really what i wanted to do.

my idea is to test the lights. (may be of use to others in the future)
