Copper and steel are disimaler metals and should not come into contact as you will get electrolytic corrossion which is why it is probably leaking in the first place
Sorry to inform you but your mistaken as steam radiators as well as Hydronics and Gas valve (Brass ) connected to black steel do NOT cause electrolytic action .
Being a Master fire suppression piping contractor and a Licensed Master plumber /gas fitter I can assure you many sprinkler /stand pipe systems are made of steel piping with brass sprinkler heads or Brass Siamese connections and brass shut off valves.
Electrolytic and galvanic corrosion occur like dezincification when zinc is mixed with copper such as Yellow brass ( commonly used during WW 2 to save copper) and this 40 % zinc and 60 % copper caused major failures
The Red Brass which is 85% copper 15% Zinc does not have this problem
Black steel mixed with most copper alloys will not cause a problem it is the zinc coated black steel that electrolytic action occurs most commonly. Galvanized wrought, galvanized steel, Yalloy etc.
Even boiler relief /safety valves for the most part are brass and the boilers are cast iron / steel
