Hi all, hope you can give me some guidance.

I am about to install a solid oak floor onto a concrete floor at ground level. The floor has been down for over 20 years.

Do I need to put a DPM in ?

Do I need to insulate if so what tyhpe would be best ?

How is it best to fix the floor ? (I have purchased glue to run down the T&G)

Finally with the expansion gap is it bestg to use the cork strips round the edge or just leave a air gap ?

Thanks in advance

Pete
