Hi

I would like some advice on whether to get engineered flooring or solid wood flooring.

This is for the entire ground floor of my house, including hall/kitchen/dining/lounge

The majority of the flooring will be laid over floorboards, with some laid on concrete (extension)

I am confused what is the best to get, and what are the benefits over each other

Many thanks

As soon as you talk about hallways but especially kitchen: wood-engineered.
Kitchens have more moist (cooking, washing etc) and then a wood-engineered is always preferred over a solid because of WE's better stability.

Or see here

thats great

Just need to find one that I like now

Am after one that has planks about 120mm to about 150mm wide, any ideas.

Due to the amount that I need, 55m, I am price dependant

Thanks

If i link to a product that's 145mm wide I might be accused of advertising ;)
