I think we all missed that point, indeed it said flea spray worked for him, I will do that and see if this works on my CCTV camera that keeps getting webs woven all around it in summer months. Plus you get free flea repellent.

And may be it is true as I use flea spray a lot due to my cats who bring the damn things from outside and I need regular flea treatment both for my cats and spraying my house to stop flea epidemic, and may be that is the reason I don't see may be one spider in a year at the most!

In my garden I have some conifers and each year it is inundated with hundreds of real big fat and yellowish brown spiders that give you a real fright, no kidding they get as big as a an old 10p piece, yes about an inch wide just their body, and how many times I must have smashed my face directly into their web when going out in garden

Um, hasn't anyone heard of using conkers. I've no idea why they work, but spiders don't like them. Change them every year, and you'll be fine.
