[Solved] Another plaster crack thread…

Hi all. We have been in our property for about 7 years. Age is circa 2000, not near any large trees or bodies of water. Fairly big 2 up 2 down end terrace.

Just recently I noticed some cracks in the cupboard under the stairs. I highly suspect this is just normal settlement as it was a single parent with 1 kid before us (from new) and we (family of 4) probably apply a lot more weight to the structure - but wanted to check!

Truth be told, I can’t say how long these cracks have been here as I don’t often go in the cupboard and look up but shortly after we moved in, one appeared where the plaster board joins in the hallway ceiling and a professional assessed it and re-plastered it.

I’m just looking to see if we need to get the plasterer out again (or to be honest just ignore or calk ourselves as it is under the stairs) or start to panic!

Of the images attached, the larger cracks are no more than maybe 1mm to 1.5mm with the longer one down the side of the door frame being hairline. I do not see any other cracks anywhere in the immediate area or elsewhere in the property and the hallway ceiling one hasn’t reopened.

Thanks for the advice in advance! :)

Edit: I know I’m probably being uber paranoid here but I have 2 little kids so always best to check with those who know better!
