I've been clearing out some pictures from my phone of some poor work I,ve observed over the past couple of years. This will be the first of many.
The following was in a recently completed extension which was wired 32a mcb 6mm t+e to 45a dp sw with 2.5 t+e out wired in radial for all extension sockets inc single oven d/w etc
The pictures relate to the boiler/ cylinder wiring which was wired from sw spur (13a fuse) off radial in 1mm flex to jbox from this 1mm flex to another sw spur(13a fuse) from this (black cable) 1mm flex to 3KW immersion. Flex was not damaged but was showing signs of discolouration on the copper cores - immersion had been used.
