Wow, this stuff instantly cured when doing some testing with it.

Worries me tad I won't have any working time with it.

Do you need to use the activator with it? It seemed to not be instant cure and bit workable without it.

OR do I need to know what I'm doing for once lol.

Do you mean their "superglue"?

If yes, I know lots of chippies who use it for the likes of door architraves. The activator not only rapidly speeds up the curing time, it also aids bonding, particularly when working with porous materials such as MDF. MDF without the activator often refuses to stick.

What are you trying to do?

So I am guessing that you are using their super glue. With the activator, it is pretty much instant (by design) .

If you want more wiggle room, something like Stelmax "might" give you more wiggle room. I have never used it.

From memory, one of the people whom I respect here ( @crank39 ) is not particularly fond of the stuff.

Hopefully he will be able to give you better advice.

Thanks, maybe I'll seek an alternative.

2 hours bonding is a bit too long. it was more to ensure it's in place right.

Stelmax is a specialised product for gap filling and bonding and any splurge needs sanding back and polishing, generally used in repairs more than anything

If your glueing fascia joints then use silicone, plenty of working time and remains flexible to allow for expansion and contraction, superglue wouldn't and the caps(if thats what your glueing on) would pop off eventually

When bonding surfaces with something like silicone, I use a glue gun to lock it in place first. That might not work for you though.

Edit- composed before @crank39 replied.

Sticks Like **** is one of the more rigid MS polymers, more so than, eg CT1
