sound but no picture

Been to kent for our holidays,took my digi camera,took quite few photo's along with some video.got back home downloaded what was on the memory card,pictures are fine,Video is coming through as sound only,looked at the options and it was ticked to accept codecs,can't still get the video though,im on media player nine...any thoughts please.

Hi..the camera is a BENQ DC C800....yes the video plays ok in the camera...thanks

A/V is not my bag, but it does sound (no pun intended) like you are missing a codec. This might help identify the ones you need.

What extension does the movie file get on your PC ?

E-mail a small one to a friend to see if they can play it.

Does your camera come with any software which will play the movies ?

You could also try the VLC media player which I find plays most things out of the box....download from here.

i thought media player 11 with all the updates i got sent would have played the video's..but nope,in the end i got the codec from ulead,and it plays a treat now...thanks for your replies.
