I am going to soundproof a party wall with soundblock plasterboard sheets before the plasterer comes in to skim all the walls.
Can I just use dot and dab adhesive to stick the boards to flat bark artex painted with mid sheen emulsion ?
Or do I need to further prep?
Do you prime boards before slapping on adhesive?
There will be joins , do I just use the sticky scrim and can the plasterer skim over this , Or do I need to use the tape and caulk some plaster over it?
Like dry line?
