My central heating boiler in in the cellar directly under the living room. To try and reduce the noise coming through the floor I built an enclosure around the boiler using a soundproofing product called maxiboard. This has had some effect but not enough. Any suggestions of any additional or more effective ways of containing noise from the boiler ?
