The pressure gauge on my Ideal Isar combi boiler drops from 1 to zero in a few days. Assuming I have a leak in the CH I traced the pipes round the house but found no problems (although some are in the concrete floor downstairs). For so much pressure to be lost I imagine quite a lot of water would have to leak, so I would expect to see a problem even IF under the concrete floor (wouldn't I? - surely a carpet would have become wet by now - its been going on since the summer). Or, could the gauge be wrong or maybe the PRV is letting go to soo soon...

Any tips to check b4 asking a plumber round?
