i was not sure if sovereign was a governing body which is why i asked in the first place.I have had a survey done by a sovereign approved contractor but have since found out otherwise i need to find out of his credibility as it may be fraud.

from what i have just seen i think its soverign you should be checking, this company, has it anything to do with a damp problem you may have ?

it wouldn't surprise me if tey tell you the bloke / company that did it is a very good company
For those who dont know, most soverign registered companies are those who provide damp course trreatment, involving in some cases chemical injection

what im after finding out if they are actually registered.They have given me an invoice saying sovereign approved contractor however i have information otherwise to say it could be false .I tied to email the Sovereign website but its dead! so i will try phoning them in Scotland.If they are advertising as sovereign approved contractors and they are not where does this leave me???
Its a complicated matter as i have found out the man running the company is known by another name and using this name to run damp proofing yet using another name in his daily life so its set me thinking ???

pixiesue, You presumably were issued with a guarantee when the damp proof work was complete and paid for. On this guarantee is a warranty number and details of the chemical company and its terms.
Your inquiries here do not match up with your earlier posts?
Why not explain in full what you have had done, by whom, where and when if you wish people to donate time and expertise in answering your queries?

I phoned sovereign today and found this out! so its a case for trading standards now and a criminal lawer !I cannot talk further on this matter accept to say if a company says they are sovereign approved and are not and use the sovereign logo on reciepts etc and they are not then its naughty isnt it!
