Charnwood said the stove efficiency would be reduced but it would be okay from a BC point of view. They also said the warranty would still be okay but when i asked about having that in writing he wasn't so forthcoming! At least i won't have to drastically alter the fireplace now but it just shows the conflicting advice re stoves and their installation...
