Spaces between Plaster Gang Socket

I chiselled into the plaster to cut the rectangle area for the gang sockets to fit and I sort of took a bit too much plaster and now there are gaps. It looks terrible. How can I correct this with plaster, or is there a plate that will go behind the actual gang socket that will cover the gap?? HLEP

I'm new here, but having read a few threads I get the impression pictures are very much appreciated, and it usually makes it easier to explain things if everyone can see exactly what you are talking about. :cool:
 
i'm going out on a limb here but We'll assume that you mean metal backboxes and you made the hole too big..

just use polly filler to fill in round the box..
