Interesting attitude people have to risk..All hell let loose,,people demanding Boeing sort planes after 400 deaths,,yet people do not find any urgency in sorting 25k deaths annually..

I would rather the Gov spent money on improving roads, renewables than HS2.
You cited 25k deaths in a thread about speed reduction, so it's on you to back up your assertion.

Speed per se isn't the issue. You can be in a 30 MPH zone, and due to prevailing road conditions 30 MPH would be an inappropriate speed.
It is inappropriate speed that is the real danger. Not that I advocate speeding especially in 30-40 zones.

Of course its an issue. 30max in 30 zone,,,most people take no notice .slow down if not possible,,do not exceed ...just toying with words.

No, quite the reverse, the indicated limit is just that the maximum speed, it may not be appropriate to go that fast.
