Fill the system with water and use a hydraulic test pump, don’t test with air pressure.
Air can be compressed and if a fitting blows off it can cause serious harm if it strikes someone, I’ve witnessed a couple of near misses on site.
Plus, if there’s a small leak, it’s easier to find with water.
