I wired up an annexe coverted from two garages and toolroom in 2004. I live there now. It was checked by a sparkes before the power company hooked up the mains and it was safe. Everything else is fine.

I am getting spikes on the radio when the fridge door opens and when I turn other things on, probably on the same kitchen circuit. It may occur on other circuits, not sure.
It is just annoying.
By spikes I mean the audible click and short buzz.

What is the solution?

change radio station / move radio.

they are always there, its just that your radio is picking them up

The radio is a std analogue tranny, I listen to Radio 4 on FM

seriously its quite normal if some what annoying, as i said move the radio
