Spilt petrol on paving

I spilt a tiny amount of two stroke petrol when cap on blower was loose. Will it show? I read to throw sand on it then scrub with fairy and water. Is that right?

When I came back five mins later it had evaporated and couldn't see tiny spill so just throw bucket of water in area. Then later scrubbed where I thought it was with fairy and water.

What now if it's there in a week?

sprinkle with washing powder and scrub in ,leave and let rain rinse off.
