We have an old (7 years) indesit washer dryer. It works fine 99 times out of a 100, but occasionally when it comes of the final fast spin it will trip out the electric.

There doesn't appear to be any other pattern, and nothing else in the house trips the power.

Which part would be causing this - I'm assuming the motor, which is probably a big job. If it were something smaller I'd be interested in fixing, as it means we cant leave the house with it on in case it cuts power to the freezer.

Its always on the final spin and it sounds like it trips as the motor is starting to stop anyway, unless of course it is stopping because it has tripped the power!

Thanks. Is that a big/expensive job?
As I said its about 7 years old so its whether it would be cost effective.

Not if you can do it yourself, a set of brushes should be less than £10, I would have thought & within the scope of a DIYER.
