p.s I wasn't sure where to post this?

I've searched the internet to the best I can, to find Splice Locks. I can only find this one company who deals with them...+they haven't got the sizes I need for my parents hand rail plans.

andy - 42.4 (size 7), 48.3 (size8 ) Type 18 internal coupling made by Kee Klamps. We get our stuff from Parker Tools in Kent (or online Please login (registration is free!) to view this link.

) but you should be able to source the stuff locally from a 'heavy end' engineering supplier.

Kee's couplings are a different profile to those on your link but will do the same job.
