spot priming exterior windows

when using dulux weathershield u/c and gloss is it ok to spot prime bare surfaces with normal oil based wood primer or use thinned u/c by 30% or do u have to use weathershield primer :D
 
The undercoat is a primer undercoat. The thin liquid preservative primer is meant for bare wood only and should be wiped off any that gets onto existing paint, I tend to not bother spot priming with the preservative and just spot prime bare wood with the weathershield undercoat. (thinned a little)
