I've got led spotlights in our kitchen and recently 4 of them come on intermittently but then stay dimmer than the rest. I've tried replacing the bulbs including the adjacent one. When I switch the light on they all come on but the 4 on the right go down to a dimmed state within seconds. They're on a circuit of their own and go back to the consumer unit
in the utility. Any ideas what to check?

I suspect that you have a "high resistance" joint (loose connection) in the wiring to the lights concerned.
You need to locate it as soon as possible because it is
heating the wiring at the "joint",
will get worse
and
could cause a fire.
