Spraying block paving - non-viton sprayer

Hi,

I have to seal my block paving, and all the info says I need a Viton sprayer otherwise the rubber seals will perish.

It's a job I'm going to do once, and I happen to have a spare old non-viton sprayer hanging around. The job will probably take me 2 hours max. Hate to be a part of the throwaway culture, but £45 for a new sprayer seems like a bad investment. Will my old cheapo do the job before it gives up the ghost?

I can't say how quickly the chemical will affect the seals but have you looked into replacing them with viton ones.
Bearing suppliers and places that service hydraulic systems stock seals.
