Has anyone ever tried spraying lacquer on to melamine? I have some boxing in to do and wanted to have as close to a high gloss finish as possible to match a sink unit. My cunning plan is to find some old white melamine from an old wardrobe, clean it up, spray it, et viola!
If this is a no go, would simply painting some ply or mdf white then spray be viable.
