Can anyone advise where I can get INTERNAL stop ends for 22mm pipe.

Was advised to use these to make up spreader pipes for within a cylinder.

However, all the merchants I have tried either don't list them or have never heard of them. BES included.

Thanks

braze a 2 pence to the end of the pipe then file it down flush.

Not made thats why.

You can get pipe stopends or fitting stopends.

ID is a non measurement.

If you choose to use a 2p piece, use an old one - They have been made of copper plated steel for quite a few years (test it with a magnet first).

How close does a 15mm external stop end come to fitting the ID of your chosen piece of 22mm pipe? Solder ring ones have a useful bulge in them.

A blunt wheel in a pipe slice will neck down the end of your 22mm quite a bit when you cut it. Annealing the pipe first would help a bit more.

You could expand a 15mm stop end by pressing it over a mandrel (thats the same as standing the open end on a ball pein hammer and hitting it!)
