Would it matter if its a 50a or 45a?

As long as it is rated at least the size of the circuit it doesn't matter.

the Crabtree brand is a reputable one, some of Wickes unbranded products are not so good.

p.s. the thing in the picture is a SWITCH not a SOCKET
