Hi,

I have a number of these MK gang sockets around the house. They are a ceramic switch with a spring inside. They are starting to fall apart, is it possible to buy the same switch anywhere? Any help appreciated.

I can't see anything which matches in my mk catalogue. Can you see a part number on either the plate or one of the switches?

It'll probably start with the letter 'K' followed by a four digit number.

Stamped on the back of the plate is 16013 / A ED 2 if this helps. The installation is 13 years old?

That's not a part number in my catalogue. Where's the missing switch module?

Do you have other switches the same you need to match or would a slightly different replacement be ok?

One of the switches actually fell apart when I turned the lights on. only the right hand switch is connected the centre one is not used and the one on the left missing switch again not used and has been taken out to replace another switch.

I am happy to replace the switch as I can use the two decent switches elsewhere but need to be able to match the face place as I have matching plates throughout. Any help appreciated.

I think your switch is from the mk aspect range.

Does this look similar?

No, all of my switches are as in the photos. Knowing the builder they had a one hit job lot hence why I can't find replacements!

Sorry I meant the finish, plate thickness screwless finish etc. ignore the middle for the moment.

The closest match I can find is three of these

Fit a half module blank between each switch

All fitted into this plate

Unfortunately I can't fine a 2G 3 module plate. Only 4 module, hence the half module blank spacers. Alternatively you could fit a fourth switch which does nothing if you'd prefer.
