I've noticed my boiler is power from a 3A fused spur from an existing 13Amp double socket.

I wanted to check what cable should be used to go between the 13Amp socket and the FCU. Currently the cable isn't mains cable it (looks) to be something like 6A cable. Is that OK or should I replace this with 13Amp cable.

Thanks very much

the cable between the socket and the spur should be the same as what is in the socket. more than likely 2.5 t+e, as it hasnt been fused down yet. ideally it needs replacing, is that going to be a problem?

Thanks for your reply.

No that's no problem. I thought it probably should be 2.5mm cable - just wanted to check first whether I needed to replace it.

Thanks again.
