hi folks, not an expert in electrics so need guidance here please!
live in older house and sockets must have been expensive when they built this place cos they certainly scrimped on them! looking to add extra double wallmounted socket in the bedroom. i've checked out the existing sockets and they all seem to already have spurs so no good for adding another right? not too keen on cutting into rings/mains etc so is it an option just to run a longer extension lead around the skirting in plastic trunking to a 4-way adapter to where i need it, or is this a no-no?
