squealing boiler

"New" Vaillant squeals loudly when I put the heating on, though is OK to heat water. (Previously, it allowed for the heating to be on, but sometimes squealed when the (usually hot)tap was turned on. Only turning the radiators off would stop the squeal. Could anyone help (in layman's terms)? Is there anything to be done, or do I need a plumber?
