Squirty thingies for marking holes

I am planning to build a wardrobe and need to screw various timbers to walls and ceilings. I was planning to pre drill holes in the timber (4x2), hold level and then mark for holes in the wall.

I understand that you can use these spray gizmos. Are they any good and which one do you recommend?
