I will be stacking washer dryer soon and wondering if I can just fit an extender pipe from the dryer to the connection under the sink , any reason it won't work ok

Thanks

Condensing I presume? As long as it allows for external gravity/pump draining then fire away. Use a spigot on the trap to avoid smells.

I was going to connect into existing

Don't forget, the drain pipe needs to rise up some way, before sloping back down, so it forms a trap in the pipe. Often there is a line on the back of the machine, to indicate how high the pipe needs to rise.
