Stainless decking screws

Hi all,

I'm about to start my decking project using hardwood. I know I have to use stainless screws for the boards - any advice / recommendations for which type to use. I've seen the Spax ones but they seem fairly expensive - are they worth the extra cost? Or is there an equivalent alternative?

the spax small headed type with the torx head are the best i have used

Spax are good, but square drive looks the bees knees. Again, expensive.
