Hi,
We live in a victorian period property and at some stage would love to replace the staircase with oak. My neighbour has mentioned in the past that both houses were built at the same time, terraced victorian houses. He has said that the staircase could be joined between the twop properties and counter balanced as such. Now i have never heard of this and just wondered if he has got it wrong, if it was true would this cause major problems.

Did he have his binoculars trained on you at the time?

Did you know that the word gullible has been removed from the dictionary?

In other words, complete bollix.

Thanks
I did think as much but its one of those situations that when someone says something you get the seed of doubt planted. lol
