I had the old wooden porch in my 1930's semi replaced with a new UPVC version and have just had the whole of the hall, stairs and landing replastered. Even with the heating on we now seem to be getting a very cold draught blowing through the hall and up the stairs. There is no sign of a draught coming through the front door area but you can feel the breeze when stood at the top of the stairs.
Can anyone explain this? Would there be a massive difference between the air circulation of bare walls and wallpaper?

Yes. I have the central heating on throughout the house but we only have the cold draught problem in the hall / stairs and landing.

i assume you have open plan down stairs or internal doors open when you feel the breeze!!!
