Stand alone Microsoft Office

Yes, I have checked and that is exactly the problem. Documents were saving to OneDrive by default. For some documents I don't have a problem with this but for others, I will need to make sure they are saved locally. Thanks for the advice. An awful lot changed when I reinstalled Windows 10 and I am just getting used to it.

Plenty of Office 2019 Pro on ebay. That's stand alone.

are you sure? I can see some Pro Plus at around £100, is that what you mean?

presumably it needs to be new, with unregistered key.

I could see £40 something, £60 and the packaging looks new. I am no expert on it, since I don't need to use office much, but I would have thought "Pro Plus" would be better than "Pro"? To me, I don't see the distinction. I only use excel for game auction house prices and word for checking spelling and grammar. I am still on 2016 version and gmail is saying outlook will stop working in may. So, I am mildly interested in the subject. I am undecided if I should dump the google spying bast*rds instead.
