Hi folks, we have a standard straight staircase and a block and beam/polystyrene/floating weyroc type chipboard floor in our living room.
On removing the floor covering, the stairs seem to be attached to the weyroc floating floor (ie sitting on it).
It this standard practice? I (probably mistakenly) assumed the stairs would be secured to the more solid floor underneath as opposed to the floating weyrock chipboardy stuff.
