Hi,

I have just installed a Steam Shower in a gravity fed system. A Salamander twin impeller pump supports the shower and is sited below the shower heads. The shower is multifunctional (overhead and handheld shower heads, foot and Jet massagers). With the exception of the handheld shower all the functions are operating as expected. When the handheld shower is selected the pump kicks in and initially the water flow is strong, but within seconds the pump stops and the water flow is reduced to a trickle. On advice I pointed the shower head downwards to clear, but this resulted in intermittent pulsing. Not sure what to explore next and would appreciate any thoughts/advice that anyone can offer.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Hi Gav,

I am the installer and followed the manufacturer's installation guide to the letter. Before posting I doubled checked that I had made no errors.

Cheers

Phone manufacturer then, they are obligated to you, if you have fitted it right, it must be a defect product, reject it.
