Can anyone tell me the best way of running skirting around this corner. Where the corner of the wall is, is where the floor level drops too! I need to step it down then to 45 the corner in some way

Approach may also depend on the type of skirting used

Personally I'd consider ripping the bottom of the skirting board down for the lengths where the floor is higher and then joining with a standard external mitre. Yes you'll have different height skirting but you've already got different height floors. Would probably bring less attention to it this way.

This is exactly how I'm going to do it, for me it would be alot easier and definately less noticeable
