Hi

One of the knobs on my gas hob keeps sticking when on. By sticking I mean once pushed down it does not pop back up by itself.

There is no debris of any sort that I can see. I thought about spraying some wd40 on it but was not sure given the whole flammable aspect.

Any ideas on what the issue might be or how to resolve.

Thanks

J

Get a gas engineer to look at it, many gas taps are sealed with a smear of graphite grease on a tapered plug. WD 40 could well wash the grease away and result in leakage.
