Should I repoint this with lime cement ? or is there a better product to use ?
If it has to be lime cement can anyone suggest the required mix ?

Try a small area first with the horse hair mix, dont press it to hard at the battens, wet the back of the slate with water to help it stick.Might be able to use something other than horse hair.
